LuLu's Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients: pumpkin, potato, cashew nut, cooking oil, water, salt & pepper.

Cook all ingredients and cook for 20 mins, then pulverize it to serve.

This is the first time I try to make pumpkin soup. Still can do it better next time! Anyway, success for the first tried! \(^_^)/

Lulu's Chocolate Cake

The ingredients of Chocolate Cake is 125g butter, 2 eggs, 100g milk, 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence, 125g sugar, 125g self-raising flour and 30g cocoa powder.



Melt the butter inside the TM bowl for 2 mins at 60 C with speed 4. Then add in remaining ingredients to mix for 30 sec with speed 5. Lastly bake the mixture in centre of pre-heated oven (180 C) for 25-35 mins.


Dust with icing sugar and serve. It's delicious while still warm with cream. It can be ready to serve in just 40 mins.

LuLu's Stir-Fry Beef With Ginger (姜丝炒牛肉片)

Ingredients: sliced beef (or pork meat), sliced ginger, sesame oil

Seasonings for meat: sesame oil, dark & light soy sauce, salt & cornflour

Sliced ginger.

Marinade the meat seasonings for about 15 minutes.

The ingredients.

Saute the ginger with sesame oil, then put in meat to fry for about 3 mins.

This is one of my favorite food. It's yummy and easy to cook and serve oh.... ^_^

LuLu's Orangeade

Since my friend give me a lots of orange, so, I decide to make an Orangeade for myself with Thermomix this noon. I blend the sugar so that it's easy to melt later (it produce the same result if we blend the rock sugar).



I cut the orange only because wanna make sure all is in good condition. If it's fresh, we can direct blend it.



Add in the orange and water and blend it in just few sec (3 x Turbo button). Then can filter it with the simmering basket.

The skin left after pulverize.

Lulu's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Only need 5-15 mins to prepare the mixture. This is the first cookies I make with the Thermomix and found it's really too easy to prepare it. Can produce about 100 pieces of cookies depends on the size make.


The ingredients: 175g butter, 180g castor sugar, 1 tsp Vanilla essence, 2 eggs, 280g plain flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 25g cocoa powder, 150g walnut, 1/8 tsp salt, 150g chocolate chips.



Mix the ingredients with the Thermomix and drop teaspoonful of mixture onto greased trays. Top with extra chocolate chips and bake at a pre-heated oven (180 C) for 12 mins.

Lulu's Stirred Cake

It's really easy to make this cake. Just need to collect all the ingredients and put into the Thermomix mixing bowl to mix for 1.30 mins with speed 3-4.

Place the mixture in a small buttered cake tin and bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 50 mins.

LuLu Meat & Glutinous Rice 'Siew Mai'

LuLu Meat 'Siew Mai'
Process Time: 5 mins, Total Time: 3o mins

Streaky pork, Chinese mushroom, prawn, Ikan Kurau fillet, spring onions, salt a little, egg white, corn flour, pepper a little, 'Siew Mai' skin or 'Wantan' skin.

Mince pork in TM bowl, set aside. Mince mushroom and prawn. Add mince pork, spring onion and seasonings to mix well. Wrap the minced ingredients with 'Siew Mai' or 'Wantan' skin, put into Varoma tray to steam.

Glutinous Rice 'Siew Mai'
Process Time: 45 mins, Total Time 1 hour

Glutinous rice, streaky pork, cooking oil, Chinese mushroom, dried shrimp, spring onions, light soy bean sauce, sugar, salt & pepper a little, 'Siew Mai' skin or 'Wantan' skin.

Place glutinous rice into simmering basket to cook. Leave the rice aside and keep warm. Add meat, mushroom, dried shrimps, spring onions and oil to saute in TM bowl. Add light soy bean souce, sugar, water & salt to mix. Pour the mixed ingredients into a big bowl and blend well with glutinous rice. Wrap the minced ingredients with 'Siew Mai' or 'Wantan' skin, put into Varoma tray to steam.

LuLu 'Man Tao'

The ingredients for the LuLu 'Man Tao' is 270g water, 30g cooking oil, 50g sugar, 2 tsp yeast, 500g medium protein flour or 'pau' flour, pinch of salt.







The process time is only 4 mins. Set the dough into 'man tao' form and set aside in Varoma unit for about 30 mins for it to rise. Then steam it for 12 - 15 mins.

We can choose the other food inside the TM bowl while steaming the LuLu 'Man Tao'. We can also choose to bake it.

LuLu Steam Prawn

This is a simple dish I had prepare for my dinner. I cook my rice in the TM bowl with simmering basket at the same time when steaming the prawn. It can be ready to serve in 15 mins.

The ingredients for the dish are fresh prawns, an egg, some ginger juice or few slices of ginger, some red rice wine and salt to taste. Place the prawn on a deep plate, pour the sauces over it and the egg on top before putting into the Varoma tray for steaming.

LuLu Healthy Rice ^^

自从买了Thermomix之后，我每次下厨准备餐点时都至少一定会用它来煮饭。因为它太方便了。我把米直接放入纲锅洗净，然后放入装了水的主锅中，15分钟后就有香喷喷的饭出炉咯。。。













如果是细小的碎米，在底下用碗把从缝隙掉落的米粒盛住，洗完米再放回纲锅中煮。水的份量就视我们所要吃的米饭软硬度决定了。如果喜欢吃软绵带微湿的就要让水位多过米粒，不然只要稍微触碰水面就可以了。米不会因为放了太多水而煮成浓粥呢！




饭煮熟后可以看到锅里的水成米白色，因为淀粉都留在里面了。所以用Thermomix煮出来的米饭都可以安心的吃，不必担心摄取太多淀粉而发胖或提高血糖哦！

Making LIFE Better

I had bought my Thermomix TM31 in May 2009 and starting making Life better. Many of my friends and relative short as I willing to pay so much money to get such a small machine. But as what I saw Nick Harman wrote in his blog as shown in the photo above (I copy, paste it), I believe I did the best and correct decision. And I am ready to share with you how I enjoyed my life with it soon. (^_*)

別忘了，她不是天生就該來照顧你們全家大小的，女人很單純也很懂事，只要當她受傷時，好好傾聽她、支持她、保護她，為她拭淚，她就會感動一輩子

更別忘了，當男人年老時或生病時為您把屎把尿的，絕不是已老的也要您照顧的父母，最有可能的就是從年輕到老，始終在您身邊的女人。

My First Nanny's Job

Wow... My first nanny's job handle by myself alone is to take care of my friend's HAMSTER. =)

Anyway, it's a simple and easy nanny's care cause it isn't trouble me much. All I need to do is to feed her, clean clean her room. That's what her mom told me.

She has no name yet, cause her mom is too busy to think bout a good name for her. So, I decide to name her 'Ngong Bo' (foochaw, means silly girl) or 'Tang Nia Bo' (foochou also, means greedy girls). 1st one is because of her "silly's" mom. 2nd is because her attitude, she like to sleep a lots, I not sure cause she travel so far from my friend's house to airport & back to my place or she really likes to, but whenever I touch her food's pack, she will awake and stand still watching me and waiting me to feed her. Really funny things.



This is my new experience, got a pet to accompany me, not bad feeling till now. So, I plan to train Ngong Bo to like me more then her mom cause I realise her mom might not have enough time to built a good relationship with her yet. haha.... So, don't blame me if it really happens.

Any one know what more shall I do to take good care of her or how to win her trust, please do let me know. ^^

Accident Again....

What a shoot!!! This is the 2nd time my car's ass being hit from the back & again.... have to repair.

This was the 4th time her ass being hit, 2 times earlier while I parked it at the front of the shop house, we guess is by those people who drive car after drunk. Once in front of the traffic light when I am on my way to attend Sunday Mass, also the first accident I met. Had to say I still quite lucky cause the guy hit me willing to bear all the cost for repairing it.

This is the worst case compare with the previous one, and I wander why such a short distance can cause the most serious damage on her ass.

The accident happen when I on my way back after send my colleague back from our badminton session every Sunday afternoon. It's a little bit jam at the road, so, the movement is really slow and keep on stopped. My car again being hit from the back in this traffic jam period, and I felt it's a strong hit compare with the first time of my accident. The first things jumped into my mind is "My Goodness!!! My car being hit AGAIN!!!!????? What a SHOOT!!!". It really make me short when i saw the damage.... Wow.... how great were she, such a short distance can cause the most serious damage in this 4 time of incidence.

Left bottom is the Proton Saga Aerobat who hit me, see, only the front of her car is that depression, but I had lost the whole back.

The reason she gave me is, her son was facing another accident not far away at the front, so she didn't pay full attention and she also didn't notice why and how she can hit me suddenly. I am sure she must be talking with other people in the phone, and not paying attention to road condition. That's why she hit my car.

I just realise Miri's workshop service is really can fight with KL cause just a minutes after my car being hit, there are about 3 or 4 car stopped by and started to called for help. At first I thought there are very good guy willing to help me, but after they pass me the name card..... haha.........

At last, I called my own workshop to help me settle all the things for me. The women hit me doesn't want to settle it by herself, so we have to go to report at the Police Station for the accident, then have to take time to wait for the confirmation from the insurance company about the claim.

Another things I learn from this case is, the difference between 1st and 3rd party insurance. If our car is under 1st party Insurance, then whenever accident happens and we want to claim it with Insurance, we need not pay a cent on the repair, everything is between our Insurance company and the workshop. But if we are holding a 3rd party Insurance, we have to pay all the charges of repair, and then we claim it back from the Insurance company, then if the Insurance company not paying back a full amount, all the rest should be paid by ourself. Luckly, I am holding the 1st party of Insurance now.

Guess what? I received the repair instruction been send to workshop after 9 days!!! My goodness!!! No wander many people doesn't like to claim car insurance if it's only a minor accident or damage on the car.

Again, I have to wait 2 weeks plus to finish the repair. In other words, about a month I do not own cars. I have to looking for a friend to accompany me, or directly call a taxi wherever I want to go and it's far away! So inconvenient!

I really miss my car.... When will it be ready????

My New Family Member

正式向大家介绍.... My new family member, born in 2009 4th Chinese New Year day in Sibu, Sarawak... Now is only around 2 1/2 months old... but is a big & mature baby.

This is the picture when he came out to meet all of us just before we finish our Chinese New Year's holiday.

So cute, the nurse cover him with a towel to keep warm and looks like a caterpillar... ;)

Here's come to the 2 1/2 months, haha.... only this short time, he grow bigger (baby sure grow faster then we thought) He seems like knowing we are catching picture with him, he just know where is the place he should focus to, so amazing.... hahaha.... I like that hat I choose for him, he looks cute on it. Just like he's ready to ski....

He likes to take photos! Maybe he think he's the Supper Star! At least, now!

You know what? Wow, he got '乳沟 ' oh!!!

Is really hard to left a baby after you stay few days with them. Hope he will always happy, healthy, strong and clever! Most important things is grow up becomes a good man in future! Love you, my little nephew, Eric Pua! Muak......

Long time not write a word inside my lovely blog, but feel sad also nobody ever left any words inside my blog as well.... :(

到底什么是重要的

在美国的加州有一个女孩大约是4岁
她的父亲有一台大卡车！她的父亲非常喜欢那台卡车！
总是为那台车做全套的保养！以保持卡车的美观！

一天，小女孩拿着硬物在他父亲的卡车钣金上画下了无数的刮痕！！
她的父亲盛怒之下用铁丝把小女孩的手绑起来！然后吊着小女孩的手！让她站在车库罚站！

当父亲想起小女儿在车库罚站时已经是4个小时过后了！
当他到车库时，小女孩的手已经被铁丝绑的血液不通！
当她的父亲把她送到急诊室时，已经要截去小女孩的手掌！
因为手掌部分的手掌已经都坏死！不截去手掌的话说非常危险！
甚至可能会危害到小女孩的生命！
所以小女孩就这样失去了她的一双手掌！
但是她不懂...... 她不懂到底是发生了什么事做她的身上....
而她的父亲也因为这样感到万分的愧疚！

过来约半年后
小女孩的父亲的卡车进厂重新烤漆！
又像全新的一样！！
当他把卡车开回家后
小女孩看着重新烤漆过的卡车
对着她的父亲说

<<爸爸！你的卡车好漂亮唷！看起来就像是新卡车。>>

这时小女孩无邪的伸出了她那截断的双手，对她的父亲说

你们知道当那位父亲听到小女孩问他的问题时，发生了什么事吗？
那位父亲在小女孩的面前....................

很多人分不清到底什么是重要的，只会无知迷失在自我的喜好当中..........
就如有些人会去慈济帮忙扫街，但家事从来不管...............
有些人会花很多钱去建庙，但对自己的亲人如铁公鸡....................
有些人在外面和颜悦色，但对自己的家人却暴躁如雷....................
这就是说明那个父亲不知...... 到底是车子重要或女儿重要呢...............
而遗憾的事......... 世间到处充满了这些事......... 而且就在你、我之间.........
